Mathieu Ospital et Ximun Lambert ont remporté le tournoi Herriarena de Baigorri face à Peio Larralde et Thierry Harismendy sur un score large : 40-24. Larralde et Harismendy n’ont jamais pu exister dans cette partie à sens unique où Opistal et Lambert ont formé une équipe très solide, commettant peu de fautes et attaquant au bon moment. En face, Peio Larralde et Thierry Harismendy n’ont pu rivaliser et ont rapidement été menés au score (14-8 ; 20-12 ; 30-14). À un point de la victoire (39-18), Mathieu Ospital et Ximun Lambert ont eu du mal à conclure et Larralde-Harismendy en ont profité pour terminer sur un score plus honorable : 40-24.
